I started Bloomington Moms Blog because I am extremely passionate about helping moms feel connected, informed, supported and just plain normal. Because we all have our fair share of crazy! Motherhood is a beautiful, emotional, extremely challenging, and very rewarding journey. I love being a mom more than anything. However, like many moms I have felt unprepared, isolated, and overwhelmed at times. Today, many families like mine have relocated, and are raising their children away from their extended family – siblings, parents, and grandparents. It takes time and effort to establish yourself in a new community, and to develop a support network. In addition, we don’t have a locally focused parenting resource or single source to find out everything you need to know about raising a family in Bloomington.
