Auburn Moms Blog will provide valuable resources and encouragement to moms in the Auburn, Opelika, Lee County and Lake Martin areas.
Owner Kathryn is a proud graduate of Auburn University – War Eagle! – and has lived in the area for most of her life. She grew up in the small town of Dadeville and attended Auburn University after graduating from high school. While at Auburn, she met her husband, Michael, who was pursuing his dreams of entrepreneurship and they got married in July of 2011. A move to St. Marys, Georgia was next and Kathryn started her teaching career. After the birth of their son, Matthew {September 2014}, they relocated back “home” to Opelika to be closer to family and things that were familiar. After helping her husband build up a business, finishing two degrees, and adding a few more years of teaching to her resume, Kathryn was ready for a new challenge and thus – the Auburn-Opelika Moms Blog!
Kathryn loves all things Auburn and has a passion for helping moms find a place in the community, where they will be supported and will be able to build positive relationships as we all journey through this thing called motherhood.

I started Auburn Moms Blog because I saw a need for building a community of moms in our area to support each other in our journey through motherhood. We have so much to offer families in our area and I have found that so many moms are looking for a “village” of support and are looking for a place where they can find events, recommendations, and anything else they are seeking to make their lives easier.
