At City Moms Blog Network, we are a community of women passionate about connecting moms!

Start_A_Sister_Site5In order to be the best mom, wife and friend we can be, it is vital we feel supported, appreciated and part of a larger community than just ourselves. It is easy to get caught up in the day-to-day grind and let your mommy-relationships fall to the wayside. That’s where CMBN comes in!

Our amazingly talented Site Owners and Contributor Teams have a gift for giving a voice to so many moms who just need to feel connected and know that there is another mom out there who understands, someone who’s been there and can relate. Countless moms have found comfort and encouragement through the stories shared on our Sister Sites. New friendships have been forged through the various Moms Night Out events, playdates and other various activities planned by the Team. This is the heart of City Moms Blog Network: to make each and every mom feel understood, valued and part of a larger community, both on the local level, as well as across the country.

Our Site Owners say it best when they share with us why they chose to start a Sister Site and how City Moms Blog Network has impacted their life. Here are a few of their stories, in their words:

I had been looking for an opportunity to begin an online resource in San Antonio for moms, but the thought of such a project was both overwhelming and intimidating. I was introduced to the City Moms Blog Network and knew it was exactly what I had been looking for. Partnering with CMBN has made this venture exciting and fun. We have been able to quickly establish our website and grow our business with local companies due to the resources provided by CMBN and the support of our Sister Sites. Who knew being a business owner would be so enjoyable!

The story as to how Houston Moms Blog came to fruition is a long and fateful one…but one that I would not trade for the world!  I took a leap of faith.  I quit my full-time comfortable job.  I held my breath and dove right in.  And knowing what I know now, I wouldn’t change a thing!

By starting a locally focused parenting website in my city, doors were opened that I never even knew existed.  I have become a small business owner, met unbelievable women, and heard stories that have taken my breath away.  Each day I wake up knowing that I am making a difference in the lives of those around me, and I strive to empower my team of writers, the local businesses I work with, and even myself – to be the absolute best that we can be.  I feel so blessed to know that my full time job is simply being a mother and bringing the mothers around me together in a unique and powerful way.  My journey has been a long and winding one, but finally…I am right where I need to be.

I have never felt more proud of any endeavor as I do, being the owner of Austin Moms Blog. Being a mom is my biggest achievement and celebrating in motherhood with thousands of other proud moms is truly a unique experience. Just the other day I was taking my son to an appointment and another mom I see once a month or so said, “You’re with Austin Moms Blog!!!… I saw it pop up in my newsfeed the other day and was like, hey I know her!” Not that I’m super special or famous here in Austin, but the point is, we are building a community of support one mom at a time!

Our desire to start a local moms blog began with a passion for our community, a desire to reach and encourage moms, and bring them together to build a community on and offline. We value the opportunity to participate in the open sharing of ideas, event planning and more and we are honored to be a part of this amazing group of women!
