Mid-Peninsula Moms Blog to further localize resources for San Francisco area families

August 31, 2017

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. City Moms Blog Network announces the addition of Mid-Peninsula Moms Blog in San Francisco, California – an expansion of San Francisco Moms Blog, which successfully launched in 2015. Both sites are owned and managed by a local mom, Kelly Arditi. Given the expanse of the San Francisco area, Arditi realized it was impossible to connect with moms across the entire peninsula without further localizing her brand. So, on August 30, 2017, she will launch Mid-Peninsula Moms Blog to reach moms on an even more local level.

Mid-Peninsula Moms Blog will share hyper-localized content targeted to moms, and written by local moms. Topics will range from general parenting advice and information on new products, to travel and local area events.

“I want Mid-Peninsula area moms to know they are not alone,” said Kelly Arditi, Mid-Peninsula Moms Blog owner. “Motherhood, at any stage, can feel lonely. We hope toconnect moms online through our amazing content and offline through local events. It will be a safe place to share the joys and challenges of motherhood, get involved in the local community, and lift each other up.”

Mid-Peninsula Moms Blog and San Francisco Moms Blog are part of City Moms Blog Network, the parent company to nearly 80 parenting resource websites across the country with millions of readers each month. At each site, a local mom, like Arditi, sits at the helm and recruits more local moms to contribute content and offer expertise in all topics associated with motherhood. All City Moms Blog Network site owners are connected to a network of like-minded entrepreneurs running sites across the country. This community of moms, all dedicated to connecting moms in their own cities, work together to make sure each site is successful.

“San Francisco is a huge metro area and the addition of a second City Moms Blog Network site on the peninsula will help many moms connect to their community,” said Stephanie Flies, City Moms Blog Network founder and director. “Kelly Arditi has caught a fantastic vision for the moms of the greater San Francisco area and we are excited to support her in this journey to expand the presence of City Moms Blog Network in San Francisco with Mid-Peninsula Moms Blog.”

“City Moms Blog Network is amazing group of women that inspire me every day,” said Arditi. “It truly is a sisterhood. We all support each other and each other’s sites.”

City Moms Blog Network began with Scottsdale Moms Blog in Scottsdale, Arizona in 2010, where the unique community blogging approach caught on quickly and moms across the country asked to replicate the model in their communities. The sites in the City Moms Blog Network sisterhood represent hundreds of moms as owners, thousands as contributors and millions as readers.
