They say everything’s bigger in Texas and our Sister Site Conference welcoming dinner at Texas Land and Cattle certainly lived up to this!  We were honored to be invited to dine at Texas Land and Cattle in Dallas, Thursday night before the start of our 2nd Annual Sister Site Conference.  We were greeted by the staff with four delicious signature drinks awaiting us.  As the chef introduced us to his restaurant and the history of Texas Land and Cattle the wait staff provided us with some of the most decadent appetizers every- including their Spicy White Queso, Crab & Shrimp Stuffed ‘Shrooms, Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes and wait for it…Brisket Stuffed Jalapenos, the perfect mix of Southern flavors and spice.  And this is just the beginning folks, for the main course we got to try some of Texas’ very best Black Angus Beef along with their lengthy menu options to fit all taste palettes.

It is not very often that moms get to dine out without their children, so we were feeling VERY spoiled by the food and hospitality we received from the staff.  It was {quite literally} the icing on the cake- or should I say whipped cream on the cheesecake- when we got to try three of their signature desserts.  It is hard to save room when dining at Texas Land and Cattle but you will want to for these treats.
