Central Mass Mom brings robust resources to Worcester area.

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. City Mom Collective is proud to announce the addition of Central Mass Mom in Massachusetts, launching on January 9, 2020. Central Mass Mom founder and owner, Kelly Mongeau, joins hundreds of like-minded entrepreneurial mothers running the nearly 100 successful City Mom Collective sister sites across the globe.

“When I moved back to Central Massachusetts as a new mom, I struggled to meet other moms and find the resources I needed,” said Kelly Mongeau, Central Mass Mom Founder & Owner. “But I knew this was an amazing place to raise a family and those resources existed, so I decided to close the gap. Central Mass Mom will be a way for moms to find all the resources they need in one, convenient platform.”

City Mom Collective attracts millions of readers each month to its hyper-local sites. At each site, local moms, like Mongeau, sit at the helm and recruit more local moms to contribute content and offer expertise in all topics associated with motherhood. All City Mom Collective site owners are connected to a network of like-minded entrepreneurs running sites across the country.

Central Mass Mom will not only bring the influence of local information to readers in the Central Massachusetts area, but it will be tapped into the assets of nearly 100 mom-focused sites across the country,” said Stephanie Flies, City Mom Collective founder and director. “Kelly has caught a fantastic vision for the moms in her community and we are ready and excited to support them in this journey with Central Mass Mom.”

“When I was pregnant and living in Michigan, I followed City Mom Collective’s Detroit sister site,” explained Mongeau. “This was an incredible resource to me as I was entering motherhood. I saw first-hand how this network can impact a community and I want to bring that same impact to Central Massachusetts.”

City Mom Collective began with Scottsdale Moms Blog in Scottsdale, Arizona in 2010, where the unique community blogging approach caught on quickly and moms across the country asked to replicate the model in their communities. The nearly 100 sites in the City Mom Collective sisterhood represent hundreds of moms as owners, thousands as contributors and millions as readers.
