Cinemark just launched Movie Club gifting in time for the holiday season, a new feature of its unique monthly movie membership program. Movies are a great opportunity to escape and spend quality time with friends or family in the midst of our busy day-to-day bustles. Plus with blockbuster films like The Grinch, Ralph Breaks the Internet, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, BumbleBee, Aquaman and many more hitting the big screen, there will be something special for everyone this time of the year.
Becoming a Movie Club Member is easier than ever. You simply sign up online or via their app. From there you select the movie you wish to see and can easily add on additional discounted tickets. I found the app easy and convenient to use. I was able to add on my children’s tickets (with the online fee waived) and simply scanned my app for our tickets when we arrived at the theatre. I have to say a favorite perk for me was the 20% discount on concessions. “Large Popcorn Please!” Between the ticket and concession discounts we saved almost $10 and the savings can be even greater during evening showings!

For the $8.99/ month membership,
- Members get one free 2D movie ticket per month with premium format ticket upgrades available for XD, 3D, and IMAX.
- Members can purchase additional tickets for $8.99 each.
- The online ticket booking fees are waived, saving $1.50 per ticket.
- Concession purchases are 20% off.
- Unused tickets roll over and never expire for active members.
Do you know what seems to me to be the best part of the Movie Club? Even if in my busy mom life I can’t make it to the movies this month, my free ticket rolls over to the next month and never expires. I just love that!
