I lean more toward night owl these days but usually get bulk of work done at nap time/quiet time.

What made you decide to join City Moms Blog Network as a Sister Site Owner?
Des Moines was lacking a community for moms and I felt lead to start DMMB to provide a place for moms to feel supported, welcome and loved!
In your opinion what is the biggest benefit to being part of City Moms Blog Network?
The biggest benefit besides the instant friendships is just knowing there are other people who are going through and have gone through the SAME THINGS you are! Not only that but they want to help you get through the hard stuff and they are always there to celebrate with the good stuff.
How do you maintain or try to maintain a work-life balance?
Honestly I just try to always put my family first, if they are taken care of I can focus on work. Hiring a sitter once a week has CHANGED MY LIFE! Also, having a supportive spouse is everything.
What is the greatest lesson you have learned as a Sister Site Owner?
I can do amazing things.
What is the most rewarding thing about being a Sister Site Owner?
Seeing people become friends because of the blog.
What piece of advice would you give someone thinking about becoming a Sister Site Owner with CMBN?
Go into it knowing it’ll be fun but will also be work!
