How many children do you have? Please include their ages.
I have two children, both girls, ages 4 and 10 months.
Do you have another job besides your Sister Site? If so, is it outside the home? Is it full-time or part-time?
I own a freelance editorial services business called Editor Emily. It is from my home and is very part-time.
Are you an early bird or a night owl? (A.K.A. When do you get most of your work done?)
I schedule work hours during the day at set times three days per week, but I am by nature a night owl.
In 5 words, what does a typical day in your life as a Site Owner AND a mommy look like?
Email. Bottles. Candyland. Chocolate. Computer.

What made you decide to join City Moms Blog Network as a Sister Site Owner?
It’s the perfect job for me in that it allows me to utilize my editorial interests, management skills, and season of life.
In your opinion what is the biggest benefit to being part of City Moms Blog Network?
Same answer as above, and being flexible to be part of my children’s lives.
How do you maintain or try to maintain a work-life balance?
Set schedules. I’m not type A by nature, but I schedule work time with a nanny to help me focus. When the time for work is up, the time for work is up.
What is the greatest lesson you have learned as a Sister Site Owner?
I can really make an impact in my community and my family.
What is the most rewarding thing about being a Sister Site Owner?
Again, seeing the FWMB encouraging moms, validating moms, and bringing moms together. And also, how it benefits my personal desires for career, etc.
What piece of advice would you give someone thinking about becoming a Sister Site Owner with CMBN?
One step at a time; don’t become too overwhelmed or compare your beginning to someone’s middle.

What is your biggest guilty pleasure?
Dr. Pepper EVERY day at lunch . . . and sneaking chocolate when Anna is napping.
