How many children do you have? Please include their ages.
I have one son, Grady, and he is 4 years old.
Do you have another job besides your Sister Site? If so, is it outside the home? Is it full-time or part-time?
No, I’m a full-time site owner. 🙂
Are you an early bird or a night owl? (A.K.A. When do you get most of your work done?)
Early bird. I think. Honestly, I get the most work done during preschool hours when I’m alone!
In 5 words, what does a typical day in your life as a Site Owner AND a mommy look like?
Wake-up, coffee, laptop, bedtime, wine.
What would your tagline be?
“Dynamite comes in small packages.” I’ve heard that my whole life, and have finally learned to embrace it!
What made you decide to join City Moms Blog Network as a Sister Site Owner?
I had been a contributor for Austin Moms Blog when I found out our family was relocating to Memphis, and I was shocked to find out that Memphis didn’t have a City Moms Blog Sister Site already! I knew that other moms in the area would benefit greatly from a resource like Memphis Moms Blog, and I knew it was my job to bring it to them!
In your opinion what is the biggest benefit to being part of City Moms Blog Network?
The support and encouragement from all the other Sister Site owners! They are the absolute greatest resource!
How do you maintain or try to maintain a work-life balance?
It’s a constant struggle for me, being a new sister site owner. I have learned to set work hours and stick with them. I’ve also learned that sometimes “no” is a perfectly acceptable response.
What is the greatest lesson you have learned as a Sister Site Owner?
There’s no limit to what you can do with the right amount of drive and passion.
What is the most rewarding thing about being a Sister Site Owner?
Knowing that I am helping moms connect with one another who would have otherwise never met. Motherhood can be very lonely, no matter how many people you have around you, but finding someone who has the same worries and thoughts as you is the best feeling in the world. City Moms Blog Sites bring that to moms, and it’s so rewarding to see it happen.
What piece of advice would you give someone thinking about becoming a Sister Site Owner with CMBN?
Don’t spend too much time concentrating on building your business and forget to step back and look at your success.

What is your biggest guilty pleasure?
Dark chocolate. And red wine. More specifically, Malbec. And carbs. And cheese. Can you tell I’m on a wedding dress diet?!
