How many children do you have? Please include their ages.
3 kids! I know, I know I must be CRAZY…we love the messy grace these little humans have brought to our lives. Ages are 5 yo, 3 yo, 20 months old.
Do you have another job besides your Sister Site? If so, is it outside the home? Is it full-time or part-time?
I am a Marketing Coordinator + Graphic Designer. I do part time freelance work from home while balancing care for my children and the typical household responsibilities. I recently transitioned from doing full-time work away from home. I’m enjoying the new setup working from home but it’s interesting now having perspective of being a full time working mom and now a work from home mom…both are challenging at times. I feel like I’m a little more “well rounded” now and I have a TRUE appreciation for the SATM, the WFHM and the mom that works away from the home. We all have our “job” challenges but those certainly issues aren’t just our own. The balance of being mom and working, whatever your title might be, is something we all deal with.
Are you an early bird or a night owl? (A.K.A. When do you get most of your work done?)
A night owl for sure. I have always been one to stay up late whether it’s time for me or to get those deadline met. I will admit with 3 very young kiddos it sometimes doesn’t work out as I intend it to because I often pass out when trying to get them to bed. Hehe!

What made you decide to join City Moms Blog Network as a Sister Site Owner?
I was a family blogger and wanted to do something more. If you know me you know I have an appreciation for a sense of community but wasn’t really finding it on my own in the bloggy world. It just seemed that everyone was doing their own thing and that I was always missing out the on the opportunities I was looking for. Being an owner at CMBN has given me more direction. It’s allowed me to build relationships and get connected at both a local and corporate level in a way I couldn’t have on my own. It’s been the experience of a life time.
In your opinion what is the biggest benefit to being part of City Moms Blog Network?
Do I have to just list one?! For me its a trifecta. Opportunities, Resources and Relationships.
How do you maintain or try to maintain a work-life balance?
This is always a struggle for me. When I’m ALL IN on something it gets my full attention. I’m so proud of my City Blog so it certainly gets a lot of my time. We recently are working towards this balance by having “hours of operation”. This allows tasks done with a purpose. In our household we are firm believers in being intentional with our time. That means if your working then you better be hustling hard BUT if you’re taking time off, really disconnect and take that experience in.
What is the greatest lesson you have learned as a Sister Site Owner?
To be humble. This sisterhood celebrates and supports each other. We have sites that vary in size but we are all connected by this network. I feel like often it’s human nature to look at what others have and want to be at that level. Recently at our sister site conference I saw so many woman celebrating + supporting each others strengths and helping each other by sharing resources. I would say that we are one of the smaller site but I felt so lifted by everyone there. They certainly were singing praises about our Instagram account which I manage. So I couldn’t have been more motivated and proud to be a part of this group of talented ladies.
What is the most rewarding thing about being a Sister Site Owner?
Is it bad if I say swag?! Haha! I really do love working with amazing brands and having the opportunity to review products. BUT SERIOUSLY THOUGH I would say being a part of something bigger than just North Phoenix Moms Blog, our community and our network. It makes me proud both personally and professionally to know that I can call on my sisters all across the nation if I’m ever in need. How many people can say that? #WeAreCMBN #CMBNSisterhood
What piece of advice would you give someone thinking about becoming a Sister Site Owner with CMBN?
DO IT! 🙂 I think that if you have interest it’s because you are looking for the that sense of community and to be connected. I have achieved that with CMBN and think you will too. Also you don’t want to have the regret of missing the opportunity of owning THE City Blog in your area.

felt more empowered and comfortable in my own skin as I am now that I am a mother. Because let’s face it motherhood is not for the faint of heart…we are the wonder women to the next generation. We protect, encourage, nurture and love them. #mompower

Margaritas, Mac and Cheese, Sour Gummi Worms and M&M Popcorn…wait was I just supposed to list one?! LOL!
