My New Kind of Foreplay

My no. 1 turn on these days is when huz gets dirty with Dawn. And Hefty. I literally get hot and bothered when he empties and loads the dishwasher without me asking him to. And the trash.

Your Kid Needs to Play with Play-Doh

Moms, I know it takes a little work. There are many days I just don’t have the energy for Play-Doh. But I encourage you to give it a chance. Your kids need the fine motor practice. With a little guidance on the front end, you’ll soon be able to buy yourself a few minutes of alone time while your kids work on the very beginning of pre-writing skills.  A win-win for everyone!

Confession: I Don’t Have a (Local) Mom Tribe

How to Dress Like a Mom (Not a Regular Mom, a Cool Mom)

You know who has options? A cool mom. The option to do the first two and a half minutes of a Youtube workout, or to meet your friend for donuts. Either way, yoga pants have the stretch you need. Just don’t put on those pre-pregnancy jeans. Those jeans are dead to you.

Encountering a Differently-Abled Child: How I Wish I’d Handled It

If you haven’t yet talked with your children about physical differences, I encourage you to find some resources and start the conversation now! It’s our job to mold our children into the kind and empathetic people we want them to become.
