Moms Night Out: San Antonio Style

0

Last month, over 70 of our sister site owners and team members gathered in San Antonio for our 3rd annual Sister Site Conference.  As members of the CMBN sisterhood, we wait all year for this weekend of team-building, continuing education, and business advice from our “sisters” around the country.  However, one of our favorite parts of the weekend is most definitely the Moms Night Out.  And San Antonio did NOT disappoint!  Huge, huge shout out to the San Antonio Convention and Visitors Bureau for showing us the very best that the Alamo City has to offer for a ladies’ night on the town!

Dinner, Drinks, Shopping & A Show!

Our first stop was the beautiful La Villita, where we enjoyed a number of San Antonio favorites. First: dinner!  The lovely staff of True Flavors Catering spoiled us with fresh, made-to-order street tacos with a variety of delicious toppings, and they also served up some amazing mojitos (with a virgin option for our pregnant and nursing mamas, too!).  Next up: shopping!  We had so much fun browsing the shops and finding some fun items to take home with us.  Special thanks to BesArte, Indigo Makers Collective, ScentChips, Plaza Taxco, and Zelle Boutique for staying open late and welcoming us to your shops!  And last but certainly not least, we enjoyed a wonderful display of dance and song from Fiesta Noche del Rio.  They even got some of our sister site owners out on the dance floor with them!

A Riverwalk Experience

As many of you know, one of the most well-known features of downtown San Antonio is the beautiful river walk, which flows in and around all of the downtown shops, restaurants, and attractions.  Our group was lucky enough to take a boat tour on the river, with the beautiful lights all along the riverfront, enjoying the views of the city as we glided by.  Special thanks to  Rio San Antonio for the amazing boat rides!

Overall, we could not have been more impressed with the people and places of San Antonio. Thank you so much for hosting our sisterhood! If you have not been to San Antonio, we highly recommend you add it to your bucket list SOON!
