Last October, over 60 women from around the country gathered at the Omni Dallas for our annual City Moms Blog Network Sister Site Conference. From the moment we arrived at the luxurious Omni, we were wowed by the stunning views and convenient location!
The Staff
Ranked “Highest in Guest Satisfaction Among Upper Upscale Hotel Chains”, the Omni staff went above and beyond our expectations on every level. From handling our baggage to support throughout our conference, they quickly and eagerly fulfilled our every request. Case in point: We called the front dest to ask for bandaids and coffee pods. Both were delivered to our room within 10 minutes, and then we even received a follow-up call from the front desk to make sure our requests were fulfilled!
The Property
The first thing I noticed upon entering my room were the stunning views of downtown Dallas through the floor to ceiling windows! Beyond the incredible views, the rooms were extremely clean and beds very comfy. I appreciated the motion-activated night lights when getting out of bed at night. And I loved the bathrooms – a TV in the mirror and huge spacious bathtub, perfect for a hot shower after a day of meetings or for bathing your kiddos after a fun day out! The entire hotel is very spacious and modern, with cozy lobby fireplaces, a heated infinity swimming pool, and a full-service Mokara Spa. You may never want to leave the Omni Dallas property!
The Food
Boasting a nine dining experiences, the Omni isn’t short on delicious food. Enjoy a light breakfast at Morsel’s, an elegant dinner at Bob’s Steak & Chop House, an authentic farm-to-table meal at Texas Spice, and cold drinks while catching the latest sports game at The Owners Box. The newest restaurants opening this spring across from the hotel on Lemar street feature a little something for everyone – sushi, pizza, Mexican, and a German-style beer garden. And we can’t forget to mention yummy chocolate chip cookies for kids, delivered to your room on your first night at the hotel!
The Location
Perfectly situated right in the heart of downtown Dallas, the Omni Dallas is just a short walk or bus ride to all the area’s hottest attractions, including the Dallas Museum of Art, Dallas World Aquarium, Perot Museum of Nature and Science, Klyde Warren Park, and the American Airlines Center, as well as lots of shopping.
