Sister Site Spotlight: Halloween Edition

Sister Sites are doing to connect moms in their communities nationwide.

On October 26th, over 60 Moms came to the historic Fitger’s Complex in Duluth for a much-needed night out! Guests were encouraged to wear costumes, but it was not required 🙂 They indulged in the gourmet popcorn bar and caramel apple bar, drank and shopped at the local shops in the complex, and enjoyed chair massages before the main event: an improv comedy show with our favorite hilarious duo, Leeann and Michelle!

Our Iowa City sister site hosted not one, but TWO Halloween events this year. On October 24th, 50 moms gathered for a Witches’ Night Out, where they enjoyed signature “witches’ brew” cocktails and appetizers, tried their hand at cookie-decorating and crystal keychain-making, and sat down for interpretive tarot card readings. What a fun night!

Two days later, 350 pepole celebrated with indoor trick or treating (BIG win in the midwest!) and Halloween-themed games at the 6th Annual Iowa City Moms’ Halloween Bash. So many adorable costumes, so little time!

On October 27th, Madison Mom hosted 300 people for their Family Halloween Event at the Black Earth Children’s Museum.  Attendees wore costumes, painted pumpkins, did a Board & Brush craft, and got their faces painted. They also enjoyed an ice cream sundae bar + fruit steamers (coffee for adults), posed with a photo booth, played at the Children’s Museum & got a swag bag.

Hosted at the largest indoor shopping center in the greater New Orleans area, the 3rd Annual Halloween Snack and Shop on October 13th welcomed 1600 people and featured almost 100 vendors serving everything from jambalaya to cookie cake. Children were able to enjoy face painting, magic tricks, an indoor pick-your-pumpkin patch, dance performances, princess meet and greets, science experiments and crafts. Every square inch of the mall features a different surprise, including coffee for mom and dad or the chance to meet Audubon Zoo animals. The event also collected hundreds of costumes for children in need via a partnership with Ween Dream.

St. Louis Moms Blog went Glamping! Over 100 moms had an amazing night under the stars at the charming Seven Gables Inn, nestled in the heart of Clayton! These local moms were treated to food (hot & cold appetizers, trailmix station, s’mores, CAKE POPS), drinks, mini manis, facials, oxygen bar, massages, braid bar/beach waves/eyelash extensions, hand/eye moisturizing treatments and shopping with fabulous local vendors!

On October 28th, 35 moms in Westchester County experienced the perfect night out for busy moms in need of a night out! Guests mingled and chatted with other moms while enjoying food, drinks and desserts, and also experienced massages and beauty samples. On top of all that, all attendees also went home with an amazing swag bag full of goodies!

 On October 17th, Wichita Moms Blog hosted their 4th annual Mummies’ Night Out, a chic, upscale Halloween party with food, cocktails, music, entertainment, swag, and 300 moms mingling with each other and some of their favorite local businesses. This is Wichita Moms Blog’s most highly anticipated event, selling out within minutes each year after year. Sponsors pull out all the stops for guests and treat them to services, giveaways, take-home products, photo opportunities, and discounts. Our favorite part of this event is seeing all of the creativity come to life in costumes!
