City Mom Collective Announces Launch of Toledo Moms

Toledo Moms brings robust resources to Northwest Ohio.

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. City Mom Collective is proud to announce the addition of Toldeo Moms in Ohio, launching on January 15, 2020. Toldeo Moms founder and owner, Ashley Ralston , joins hundreds of like-minded entrepreneurial mothers running the nearly 100 successful City Mom Collective sister sites across the globe.

“I saw a need in the area for community amongst mothers,” said Ashley Ralston, Toldeo Moms Founder & Owner. “There is not a resource solely focused on a mother’s needs. I asked myself, ‘Where do you turn to when you need help and guidance in the journey of being a mother?’ and right then I knew I wanted to bring a City Mom Collective site to Toledo.”

City Mom Collective attracts millions of readers each month to its hyper-local sites. At each site, local moms, like Ralston, sit at the helm and recruit more local moms to contribute content and offer expertise in all topics associated with motherhood. All City Mom Collective site owners are connected to a network of like-minded entrepreneurs running sites across the country.

Toldeo Moms will not only bring the influence of local information to readers in the Northwest Ohio area, but it will be tapped into the assets of nearly 100 mom-focused sites across the country,” said Stephanie Flies, City Mom Collective founder and director. “Ashley has caught a fantastic vision for the moms in her community and we are ready and excited to support them in this journey with Toldeo Moms.”

“A solid community of moms was essential to me as my family made several cross-country moves in recent years,” said Ralston, Toldeo Moms Founder & Owner. “I’ve been a part of several City Mom Collective communities in other cities and know this will be a huge opportunity for my new hometown of Toledo.”

City Mom Collective began with Scottsdale Moms Blog in Scottsdale, Arizona in 2010, where the unique community blogging approach caught on quickly and moms across the country asked to replicate the model in their communities. The nearly 100 sites in the City Mom Collective sisterhood represent hundreds of moms as owners, thousands as contributors and millions as readers.
